INFOGRAPHIC: 10 Heartfelt Truths That I’d Tell My Younger Self as an Entrepreneur

Hindsight and experience. Two things that can neither be bought nor truly understood by anyone but ourselves.

Whilst this holds true, we can all pass on nuggets of insight based on that hindsight and experience to people who can really benefit from it.

It's part of the journey and it's our responsibility as we get older, wiser and more experienced to pass that knowledge back to the next generation of people ready to take on the world.

We live in an age where creating something for yourself has never been more accessible. It's a world where entrepreneurship is not only becoming more accepted as a career choice but actually celebrated as a way of finding your own true harmony between working and living.

This brings with it a world of opportunity, but with that opportunity comes a range of new fears, concerns and behaviours that we have to navigate on our path to finding our own true version of success.

There is no doubt that this can be daunting, overwhelming and ultimately an obstacle that some new entrepreneurs simply cannot overcome.

If this is you, then I promise you: you are not alone in feeling like that.

But what can you do?

10 Heartfelt Truths That I’d Tell My Younger Self as an Entrepreneur

So very often, I'm asked when guesting on podcasts:

What advice would you give to your younger self?

I try to answer with something different each time. And I try to give genuine, heartfelt answers every single time, too.

So, I decided to pull some of those answers into an infographic that you can print out, blow up and stick on your wall to remind you that even though the path to entrepreneurial success is difficult, it's a path that is truly your own.

Embrace it.

Don't forget, the more you expect from yourself, the more you WILL excel!
